Since 2014, I’ve regularly contributed to The New Yorker’s “Shouts & Murmurs” humor section. My favorite piece is probably “When This is All Over” from the April 20, 2020 issue, which I wrote during the early days of the pandemic. It was a welcome distraction during a tumultuous time and led to the most incredible honor I’ve ever received: a high school teacher in Canada emailed me an extended version of my article penned by her students. (That being said, I am open to accepting an award with prize money.)

In addition to The New Yorker, I contribute to McSweeney’s Internet Tendency and The American Bystander. Back in the day, I was a Staff Writer at CollegeHumor, which led to my first byline, internet virality, and, eventually, a show on MTV. It was canceled after one season, but I enjoyed myself—and they let me keep the suit.

I also run a popular meme account with my brother dedicated to the 2011 film Moneyball. If you thought that was enough baseball humor for me, you haven’t read my monthly newsletter.
